대학의 미래교육을 위한 핵심 교수역량 진단지표 개발

4차 산업혁명 및 지능정보화시대의 본격화로 교육환경이 급격하게 변화됨에 따라 이를 반영할 수 있는 대학의 핵심 교수역량 및 진단지표에 대한 개발․개선이 강조되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 A대학의 교수역량 진단도구 개선을 중심으로 미래교육 환경에서 어떠한 핵심 교수역량이 요구되는지 도출하고, 이를 진단하기 위한 진단지표를 제안하였다. 최종적으로 제시된 미래교육의 핵심 교수역량 진단지표는 크게 5개의 역량군 1) 수업설계 역량, 2) 수업운영 역량, 3) 학생이해 역량, 4) 자기성찰 및 수업개선 역량, 5) 공동체 역량이며, 각 역량군과 연관된 10개의 진단항목은 1) 변화대응 수업설계, 2) 교수․학습 자료개발, 3) 교수 전문성 개발 및 혁신, 4) 학습활동 촉진, 5) 학생에 대한 애정과 존중, 6) 학생과의 의사소통․전략적 촉진, 7) 수업진단 및 자기성찰․변화/혁신, 8) 수업개선 활동, 9) 공동연구․참여문화, 10) 글로벌 공유․확산으로 이 항목을 측정하기 위한 총 50개의 행동지표로 구성되었다. 본 연구를 통해 신규 진단지표로 도출된 대학의 미래교육을 위한 핵심 교수역량 진단지표를 중심으로 정리하면 다음과 같다. 학습자 참여 중심의 새로운 교수법 적용과 융․복합 교과목 개발 등 수업설계를 위한 유연한 태도를 갖는 것이 제시되었다. 또한, 미래교육 환경변화의 이해, 테크놀로지 활용 능력, 디지털 큐레이션, 수업의 개선을 위한 데이터 수집 및 분석 능력이 제시되었다. 아울러, 학문공동체의 일원으로서 다양한 기관과의 공동연구, 지역사회 참여, 글로벌 공유․확산을 위한 네트워크 구축 및 강의공개 등이 제시되었다. 이와 같이 본 연구에서 제시한 ‘대학의 미래교육을 위한 핵심 교수역량 진단지표’는 미래교육에 적절히 대응하기 위한 교수역량 기준이 되는 핵심 지표로서 기능할 것으로 판단되며, 이를 각 대학 정책에 맞게 발전시켜 교수역량 진단도구로 유용하게 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
As the educational environment changes rapidly due to the development of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the Intelligent Information Society, the development and improvement of core teaching competencies and diagnostic indicators of universities are being emphasized. Therefore, in this study, focusing on the improvement of the teaching competency diagnosis tool of University A, what core teaching competency is required in the future educational environment was derived, and diagnostic indicators were proposed to diagnose it. The finally presented diagnostic index for the core teaching competency of future education is largely composed of five competency groups 1) instructional design competency, 2) instructional management competency, 3) student understanding competency, 4) self-reflection and instructional improvement competency, and 5) community competency, and it consists of 10 diagnostic item 1) change response instructional design, 2) teaching and learning material development, 3) teaching expertise development and innovation, 4) promoting learning activities, 5) Affection and respect for students, 6) communication and strategic promotion with students, 7) instructional diagnosis and self-reflection and change/innovation, 8) instructional improvement activities, 10) global sharing and diffusion. In summary of results, It was suggested to have a flexible attitude for applying new teaching methods, developing convergence and complex subjects, instructional design, centered on learner participation. As such, the “Core Teaching Competency Diagnosis Index for Future Education of Universities” presented in this study is expected to function as a key indicator of teaching competency to properly respond to future education.
