원격 평생교육에서 학습자 인식을 통한 원격기반 학점은행제 현황 분석

원격통신교육에서부터 시작한 원격교육은 이제 최신의 매체의 발달로 인해 국내는 물론 세계적으로 발전하고 있다. 국내에서는 원격대학이나 사이버대학, KOCW 등의 형태로 변화하고 있고 스마트시대라는 미래사회가 도래하면서 평생교육의 장에도 원격교육의 중요성이 점점 커지게 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 원격 평생교육인 원격기반 학점은행제의 학습자를 대상으로 원격기반 교육에 대한 학습자의 인식을 조사하여 출석기반과 구분되는 원격기반 학점은행제의 현황을 분석하고 나아가 학점은행제 향후 운영전략 수립에 시사점을 주는 데 목적을 두었다. 분석결과 첫째, 출석기반 학점은행제와 달리 학습시간 비구속성, 일과 학습 병행 용이성, 장소 무제한으로 인한 학습의 용이성이 중요한 특징으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가장 중요한 운영요소는 시스템 측면인 LMS의 원활함과 사용용이성, 그리고 이를 다루는 인간의 서비스인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교수자의 동영상보다 동영상과 함께 제공되는 강의슬라이드가 가장 도움이 되는 학습내용이었다. 넷째, 모바일학습에 대비하는 기제를 마련할 필요성이 대두되었다. 이러한 몇 가지 결과를 바탕으로 원격평생교육인 원격기반 학점은행제 향후 운영에 있어서 발전방향을 도출하였다.
Abstract
A distance education is now getting development because of developing the media recently. The importance of distance education that is changing into a cyber university, KOCW etc. facing the future society is growing more and more in life-long education, here in Korea. The purpose of this study is to make a development plan for learner of Academic Credit Bank System based on distance education through analyzing the learners’ responses. The results are as follows. First, the most 3 important features are analyzed: non-limitation of learning time, easy to hold down a job and run learning at a same time, non-limitation of learning place. Second, the most important element is the service of tutor and faculty for learners, LMS without error and convenient usage of LMS. Third, Mobile learning device is to be prepared in the near future. In terms of these results the several development plans for teaching & learning are made.
