어떻게 하면 통일에 대해 배우고 싶어질까? 학생들의 입장에서 보면 왜 통일이 필요한지 학생 스스로 깨달아야 학생들을 대상으로 하는 통일교육은 힘을 얻을 수 있다. 이 논문은 통일의 필요성을 학생들 스스로 알지 못한다면 통일교육은 그 효율성이 매우 떨어질 수밖에 없으며 나아가 통일교육의 진정한 의미도 찾기 어려울 것이라는 생각에 기초하고 있다. 따라서 통일교육을 효율화하기 위해서는 학생들 스스로 통일의 필요성을 탐색하고 내면화하며 실천할 수 있도록 돕는 수업모형, 즉 ‘통일의 필요성 수업모형’이 필요하다고 본다. ‘통일의 필요성 수업모형’은 학생들이 스스로 통일의 필요성을 찾아 자신의 삶과 연결시키고 실천할 수 있도록 1) 통일의 필요성 수업모형의 가치원리 소개 2) 통일의 필요성에 대한 자료수집 및 분석 3) 통일의 필요성 추출 및 그 의미 파악 4) 통일의 필요성에 따른 실천이라는 4단계로 구성되어 있다.
Abstract
This article is based on the idea that, for students, knowing the necessity of unification of two Koreas is essential to practice the unification education in Korean schools. Therefore, Korean unification education needs The Instructional Model for the Necessity of Korea Unification which help students search, internalize, and practice the unification necessity. This Model has four procedures; 1) the value foundation on which this model is based, 2) searching and analyzing the materials related to Korean unification, 3) Extracting the necessity of unification, 4) related unification policies and practical things.
