초록

본 연구는 아동기 정서적 학대가 대학생의 불안에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 감정표현 곤란과 자기파괴적 행동이 이중매개효과를 나타내는지 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구대상은 대학생 296명이었으며 수집된 데이터에 대해 SPSS 24.0과 PROCESS macro 3.5 Model 6을 사용해 상관분석과 이중매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 아동기 정서적 학대 경험, 감정표현 곤란, 자기파괴적 행동, 불안 간에는 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정표현 곤란과 자기파괴적 행동은 아동기 정서적 학대와 대학생의 불안 사이에서 이중매개효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 결과는 아동기 정서학대로 인한 불안을 호소하는 대학생을 위한 개입에서는 정서적 학대 경험과 함께 감정표현 곤란, 자기파괴적 행동도 다루어야 함을 의미한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the dual mediating effect of difficulty in describing feeling and self-destructive behavior in the relationship between childhood emotional abuse and college students’ anxiety. The subjects were 296 college students. A correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between measurement variables using SPSS 24.0. The dual mediating effect of difficulty in describing feeling and self-destructive behavior was identified using PROCESS macro 3.5 Model 6. The results were as follows: First, the direct effect of emotional abuse on college student’s anxiety was not significant. Second, difficulty in describing feeling and self-destructive behavior showed significant dual mediating effect in the relationship between emotional abuse and anxiety. These results indicate that interventions for emotional abuse, difficulty in describing feeling and self-destructive behavior are needed for college students suffering from anxiety due to childhood emotional abuse.
