하이데거에 대한 분석철학의 풍경을 서술하면서 내가 주장하는 것은 다음과 같다. ⑴ 하이데거는 카르납이나 에이어에 의해서 조롱의 대상으로 간주된다. 그러나 비트겐슈타인은 하이데거의 작업을 이해하고 있다. 그것은 논리가 존재에 선행할 수 없다는 통찰이다. ⑵ 로티는 전기 하이데거와 후기 비트겐슈타인으로부터 실용주의를 읽어낸다. 그리고 후기 하이데거와 전기 비트겐슈타인에게 남아있는 칸트주의적 흔적, 즉 전체와 한계의 개념을 삭제하려고 한다. ⑶ 그러나 후기 비트겐슈타인 철학에서 핵심적 것이 바로 전체와 한계의 개념이다. ⑷ 이 점에서 오크렌트, 기농, 러드는 전기 하이데거와 후기 비트겐슈타인의 철학을 ‘선험적 실행주의’라고 주장한다. ⑸ 나아가 에스펠트는 하이데거로부터 의미와 마음에 대한 비자연주의적 그림을 읽어내고 있다. ⑹ 글록이 주장하는 것처럼, 분석철학의 주요 쟁점이 자연주의와 비자연주의의 대립이라면, 하이데거는 분석철학의 이러한 쟁점에 어떤 통찰을 제공해 줄 수 있다. ⑺ 하이데거와 분석철학의 관계를 통해 분석철학과 현대 유럽철학이라는 이분법을 무시하는 철학적 개방성이 중요하다는 것이 추론된다.
Abstract
Describing the relation between the analytic philosophy and M. Heidegger, I argue as follows; ⑴ R. Carnap and A.J. Ayer regard Heidegger as an object of ridicule. But L. Wittgenstein understands Heidegger's Being and Dread. It is the insight that logic cannot precede the Being. ⑵ R. Rorty reads the pragmatism from the early Heidegger and the later Wittgenstein, and he erases the trace of the Kant's transcendentalism, or the concept of the Whole and the limit. ⑶ But the essential of the later Wittgenstein is the concept of whole and the limit. ⑷ The common element between Heidegger and Wittgenstein is characterized as"transcendental pragmatism" by M. Okrent, C.B. Guignon, and A. Rudd. ⑸ Furthermore, M. Esfeld reads the non-naturalism of the mind and meaning from the early Heidegger's philosophy. ⑹ According to H. Glock, the main problem of the analytic philosophy is the conflict between naturalism and non-naturalism. In this context, Heidegger's philosophy can give the insight of non-naturalism to the transcendentalism in the analytic philosophy. ⑺ From the relation between Heidegger and the analytic philosophy, the importance of the philosophical openness beyond the dichotomy between the analytic philosophy and the continental philosophy is inferred.
