하이데거의 전기사유에서 ‘현상학’ 개념

현대철학에서 하이데거만큼이나 많은 영향을 미친 사상가도 드물 것이다. 하지만 잘 알려져 있듯이, 하이데거 역시 자신의 철학을 전개해 가면서 스승인 리케르트나 후설로부터 지대한 영향을 받았다. 특히 그의 전기사유는 후설의 『논리연구』를 중심으로 하는 초중기 사상의 결정적인 영향을 받았다. 흔히 후설과 하이데거는 모두가 철학의 이념을 ‘현상학적 철학’으로 간주하고 있다고 알려져 있다. 하지만 후설은 ‘현상학적 인식론’으로, 그리고 하이데거는 ‘현상학적 존재론’으로 그들의 철학이 규정되고 있듯이, 이들의 사유에는 ‘인식론’과 ‘존재론’의 차이만큼이나 그 간극이 존재하고 있는 것도 사실이다. 이러한 사유의 간극은 ‘현상학’ 개념에 대한 그들의 상이한 이해에서 비롯된 것이며, 이를 해명해 보는 것이 본 연구의 목적이기도 하다.이러한 연구 목적을 위해서 우리는 하이데거의 전기사유를 중심으로 하여, 먼저 하나의 방법개념으로 도입된 ‘현상학’개념에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 하이데거에 따르면, 인간 현존재는 그의 존재에 있어서 이 존재 자체가 그 자신에게 문제가 되는 유일한 존재이다. 따라서 존재이해는 바로 이 현존재를 통해서만 가능하게 된다. 그리고 이러한 현존재가 존재를 이해하고 드러내려는 존재론의 방법개념으로 도입된 것이 바로 ‘현상학’이다. 물론 이때의 현상학은 본래 은폐된 것을 드러내는 방식, 즉 존재를 개시하는 방식을 의미한다. 또한 우리는 하이데거가 존재일반을 현상학적으로 해명하는 이른바 ‘현상학적 존재론’의 예비 작업으로서 인간의 존재를 해석학적으로 분석하는 ‘현존재의 해석학적 현상학’에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 하이데거의 『존재와 시간』에서 ‘해석학’은 존재를 이해하고 있는 인간, 곧 현존재의 ‘현사실적인 삶’을 그 출발점으로 삼고 있다. 따라서 하이데거의 전기사유에서 현상학 개념은 기초존재론을 중심으로 하는 ‘현존재의 해석학적 해명’을 시사하는 표현에 다름 아니기도 하다.
Abstract
The Concept of Phenomenology in the Heidegger's Early Thinking This study aims to clarify Heidegger's concept of phenomenology. According to Heidegger, The question of the meaning of Being(Sein) is the most universal and the emptiest of questions, but at the same time it is possible to individualize it very precisely for any particular Dasein. We shall proceed towards the concept of Being by way of an Interpretation of a certain special entity, Dasein, in which we shall arrive at the horizon for the understanding of Being and for the possibility of interpreting it. And phenomenology is our way of access to what is to be the theme of ontology, and it is our way of giving it demonstrative precision. Only as phenomenology, is ontology possible. In the phenomenological conception of ‘phenomenon’ what one has in mind as that which shows itself is the Being of entities, its meaning, its modifications and derivatives. Also ontology and phenomenology are not two distinct philosophical disciplines among others. These terms characterize philosophy itself with regard to its object and its way of treating that object. Philosophy is universal phenomenological ontology, and takes its departure from the hermeneutic of Dasein.
