Abstract
The aspect of European integration has transformed to the multi-level governance since 1990 which yielded to the policy through corporation among EU, nation states and regional governments located on hierarchial structure and interdependence conditions However this process has brought a critical insistence on regional government’s authority. This argument goes straight to the regional government’s authority is overstated. Whether we take into account of limitation of redistribution policy, transformation to the regulatory state and different policy of member states, the regional government’s authority is under many restrictions in the European policy process. Though these opinions missed the true nature of the European polity which had been transformed to the positive integration in recent years. The regional government has extended the authority in the European policy-making by extension of policy network and linking with differential issues. The French regional governments are not redistricted the responsibility for EU decision-making process which give a hint the regional government’s authority is not constrained with the form of government.
