臺灣의 한문고전 전산화 현황과 그 의의

Abstract

This paper aims to review the present situation of Chinese classics being conduced in Taiwan, and the trend of Digital Humanities research. In Great China Region such as China, Taiwan, etc., digitalization work of Chinese characters and Chinese classics is being positively carried out. That is, not only do the countries digitalize materials related to Chinese classics and Chinese characters in a large scale, but also they are introducing computational linguistics sand digital humanities research methods for studying. To understanding a study trend of such Great Chinese countries may have implications in digitalizing and utilizing Chinese classics materials in Korea, and also may give contribute to seek a new methodology of studying Chinese classics in Korea. According to such necessity, this paper, focusing on Taiwan among Great Chineses countries, examined the situation of Chinese classics digitalization conducted by them, and utilization of study methods of digital humanities, etc. First of all, the reason I looked into the case of Taiwan is that the results of digitalization of Chinese classics conducted in Taiwan is excellent, and also Taiwan performs researches on Chinese classics by positively introducing digital humanities.
