근교 공원 휴게시설의 유니버설 디자인 연구 -중국 상하이를 중심으로-

근교 공원의 휴게시설은 공원 환경의 중요한 구성 요소이며, 사용자의 욕구를 어떻게 충족시키고 공공서비스의 질을 향상시키는지는 공원 조성 과정에서 직면한 중요한 문제가 되었다. 본 연구는 유니버설디자인의 컨셉을 통해 휴게시설을 연구 및 분석하고, 기존 디자인의 문제점을 파악하고 개선방안을 제안함으로써 사용자의 요구를 보다 잘 만족시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 아울러 연구내용은 공공공간시설물 디자인에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있다. 연구방법은 문헌 연구와 현장조사, 설문조사 위주로 진행하였다. 먼저 다양한 문헌 연구를 통해 근교 공원, 휴게시설, 유니버설 디자인의 기본 개념과 원리를살펴보았다. 다음으로 휴게시설 유니버설 디자인의 필요성을 분석하고, 선행연구 및 전문가 설문조사를 통해 휴게시설의 유니버설 디자인 5원칙인 체계성, 안전성, 쾌적성, 매력성, 접근성 원칙을 확정하였다. 마지막으로 상하이시 근교 공원 4곳의 휴게시설을 현장조사와 사용자 설문조사를 통해 분석 및평가를 진행했다. 분석 결과 다음 세 가지 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 근교 공원의 휴게시설 디자인은유니버설 디자인 컨셉과 원칙에 따라 최대한 많은 사람의 사용 편의를 고려해야 한다. 둘째, 근교 공원의 휴게시설 디자인은 체계성, 매력성, 접근성 측면에서 좋은 평가를 받고 있지만 안전성과 쾌적성요인은 미흡하여 구체적인 상황에 따라 휴게시설에 대한 추가 연구와 개선이 필요하다. 셋째, 휴게시설의 유니버설 디자인 원칙은 평가지표로서 일정한 과학성과 타당성을 가지며, 도시 내 다양한 공공공간의 휴게시설에 대한 평가 기준으로 활용될 수 있다.
Abstract
Recreational facilities in suburban parks are important components of the park environment, and how to satisfy the needs of users and improve the quality of public services has become an important issue faced in the process of park construction. The purpose of this study is to better satisfy the needs of users by researching and analyzing recreational facilities through the concept of universal design, identifying problems with existing designs, and suggesting improvement plans. In addition, the results of this research can be utilized as reference for the design of public space facilities. Literature review, field study, and questionnaire survey were mainly used as research methods. First, the basic concepts and principles of suburban parks, recreational facilities, and universal design were examined through various literature reviews. Next, the necessity of universal design in recreational facilities was analyzed, and the five principles of universal design for recreational facilities, such as systemicity, safety, comfort, attractiveness, and accessibility, were confirmed through prior research and expert surveys. Finally, it analyzed and evaluated recreational facilities in four parks in the suburbs of Shanghai through field investigation and user surveys. As a result of the analysis, the following three conclusions were drawn. First, in designing recreational facilities in suburban parks, the convenience that can be used by as many people as possible should be considered according to the concept and principles of universal design. Second, the design of recreational facilities in suburban parks received good evaluations in terms of systemicity, attractiveness, and accessibility, but safety and comfort factors were insufficient, so further research and improvement on recreational facilities are needed according to specific circumstances. Third, the principles of universal design of recreational facilities have certain scientific properties and validity as evaluation indicators, and can be utilized as evaluation criteria for recreational facilities in various public spaces in the city.
