형이상학과 현상학의 혼종적 시론 ―‘날이미지 시론’의 이론적 구조에 관하여

Abstract

So far, the study of Oh, Gyu-won’s ‘the poetics of raw-image’ was discussed at the same level as the poet had already said. It is because his poetry is relatively simple and logically firm. However, the debate so far is inevitable, and in fact, most studies, except for some discussions, are in a state of revolving. In this situation, it is difficult to discuss the significance of literary history in addition to the structure of Oh, Gyu-won’s poetics. In this paper, I use the viewpoints of cognitive linguistics and experientialism philosophy to read out ‘the poetics of raw-image’ in a critical, and reveal the premise of the poetics and its structure. His poetry can be said to be a product of logic by combining the metaphysical language view represented by structuralism and the phenomenological language view represented by Buddhism, centering on the view of metaphors and metonymy. This paper explains ‘the poetics of raw-image’ that develops from the confrontation between metaphor and metonymy and the latter’s advocacy, but reveals the premise that it is a metaphorical system as a whole, unlike Oh, Gyu-won’s hope. Nonetheless, his poetry seems to be a discussion that greatly broadened the horizon of poetic imagination surrounding metaphor and metonymy, ‘the reality of the world’ and ‘phenomenon’ of Korean modern poetry due to such a unique combination.
