This study focused on the selection of conceptual words of grammar of Korean language education for Korean language teachers to discuss the categories and the system. Discussions on conceptual words of grammar as how teachers should teach what they know or how they should transmit their knowledge in terms of use were conducted because it is natural that the range of knowledge of teachers and range of knowledge of students cannot be the same if they approach knowledge in terms of knowledge. This is based on the premise that teachers know grammar knowledge. However, there is no clear discussion on which range or system that teachers need to know the structured grammar knowledge. This study started from this critical mind. Therefore, in chapter 2, this study intended to give shape to the bounds of grammar knowledge for selection of conceptual words of grammar for teachers. Specially, it was intended to explain the position of grammar in connection to pronunciation, vocabulary, and conversation to guess the position of grammar area in second language education. In chapter 3, this study suggested to secure identity of Korean language education by approaching considerations when selecting conceptual words in the discussed grammar area in chapter 2 by approaching in terms of point of view, teachers, and learners. Korean language teachers are a group of experts teaching Korean language and the significance of this study is that it is a designed proposal for the purpose of smooth communication in expert groups.
