韓国における紙芝居の文化史と実践の試み

Abstract

Kamishibai (picture-story show) is a comprehensive genre of audio-visual art. In practice, the potential of Kamishibai can be expected as a means of building human relationships that transcend cultural elements. Communication is indispensable for communication, mutual understanding, and care. Because the importance of interchange between people is increasing day by day, it is necessary to acquire general skills such as communication skills and interchange skills. Recently, there are increasingly more universities in Japan that are engaged in various activities to promote communication of cultural contents.This makes an overview of the history of Kamishibai culture and role of Kamishibai in the government led by the Chosun Governor-General; and explores the possibility of improving Japanese communication skills through Kamishibai peer learning in Japanese language education. First, this study confirmed that the Chosun Governor-General paid attention to the propaganda activity for government policy and the popular and high penetration rate of Kamishibai in Japan and used Kamishibai as a propaganda strategy for the current state of affairs such as inspiration of military ideology, taxation liability, social security system during the Japanese colonial period. Second, this study found that it would be meaningful to utilize the cultural contents of Kamishibai in order to improve Japanese communication skills, and to practice and share Kamishibai peer learning.
