This paper has conducted an overall analysis over the practice of Korean politeness expressions used by Korean language speakers so as to build up the basic data for improving the chosen language teaching. The paper has suggested that the proper use of the politeness expressions is subject to the Korea grammar and the principles of social statues adaptations. The research have been carried out by applying the Discourse Completion Test to the practice over the varieties of Korean language speakers, hence the author concludes that such practice of research will greatly benefit the Korean language teaching as well as the textbook editing.
