The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Fisheries Resource Management by focusing on Fisheries management policy. The Fisheries management policy started from the late 1980's, in Japan. The Japanese fisheries policy began in order to promote income equality among industries during the period of high economic growth. However, it shifted to fisheries resource management policy because fishing capitalization brought problems regarding the deplete of resource through excess fishing. This study provides a picture of the current situation in regards to the implement of this policy. First of all, fisheries management organization runs independently based on regional communities. Second, the activities of fisheries management organizations varies in terms of activities and organization implements on fisheries resource management policy. Third, management cost of resource management organization is increasing.
