굴업도 Ocean Park 관광단지 개발에 관한 설문조사 분석 -인천광역시 전문가 집단을 대상으로-
The Analysis of Survey Data on the Ocean Park Tourist Development of Gulupdo - Responses of Professional Group in Incheon Metrocity-

Gulupdo is a small beautiful island in Yellow Sea located in 90 km offshore from Incheon Metrocity. Recently, CJ conglomerate planned to develop 'Ocean Park Tour Complex' in this island, but the project was accepted conditionally by Inchoen Government except for the golf course construction. However, CJ strongly hopes to build this golf course while NGOs oppose to the project, and now Gulup island development faces a dilemma. This paper conducted a survey research with a professional group related to the project. The survey result shows that the professional group also had a negative view towards the golf course construction. However, the majority of respondents agreed that except for the golf course, the whole project was an environment-friendly development in regards to ecotourism. The research result suggests that conflicts between the CJ group and NGOs should be released through open discussion, and the Gulupdo project should need an ecologically and culturally sustainable tourism development.
