독자의 읽기 행위는 읽기 프레임의 활동으로 이루어진다. 읽기 프레임의 활동은 여러 기제들의 연합 작용으로 이루어지며 독자의 읽기 과정 전반에 관여한다. 독자의 읽기 행위 특성은 읽기 프레임의 어떤 활동 기제들이 작용하는가에 따라달라진다. 이 논의에서는 읽기 프레임의 활동 기제를 외현적, 내재적, 기능적으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 읽기 프레임의 외현적 활동 기제는 읽기 프레임의 활동이 밖으로드러나게 하는 동인으로 편향적 읽기 행동, 읽기 형식의 유지, 동형 행위의 반복등을 들 수 있다. 내재적 읽기 활동 기제는 읽기 프레임의 활동이 원활하게 이루어지게 하는 동인으로 존재의 표현, 적극적 행위, 인지적 처리, 의미의 구조, 고착적태도 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 기능적 읽기 활동 기제는 읽기 프레임의 활동으로독자의 읽기가 원활하고 효율적으로 이루어지게 하는 동인으로 답습적 의미 구성,효율적 내용 인식, 지향적 읽기 수행, 습관적 태도 유지 등으로 구분할 수 있다. 읽기 프레임의 활동 기제는 독자가 읽기 행위를 수행하는 토대이다. 읽기 프레임의 활동은 여러 가지 기제들이 유기적으로 연합하여 독자의 읽기 행위가 특정한 형식을 갖게 한다. 읽기 교육에서는 읽기 프레임의 활동 기제를 인식하고, 이에 대한 교육적 접근을 할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해서는 실제적인 학생의 읽기활동 자료를 바탕으로 읽기 프레임의 활동 기제를 면밀히 분석하고 설명할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the mechanism of reading frame. Thereading activity of reader is dependent on the operation of reading frame. Thetrait of reader‘s act is displayed by the operation reading frame, because of thereading frame is the framework of reader‘s mental process. In this study, thepatterns of operation reading frame divided into outward appearance, mode, andfunction. The outward appearance is the revealed exterior trait of reader‘s activity,which is divided into inclination, continuance, repetition, and outstanding. Themode is the unified shape of operating factors of reading frame, which is dividedinto factors of existence, behavior, cognition, meaning, and propensity. Thefunction is the smoothly and efficiency role of operating factors of reading frame,which is divided into the following usually meaning construction, efficientlyawareness of information in book, intentionally reading performance, andmaintain habitual reading attitude. The reading frame is a foundation of reader‘sreading act. The operation of reading frame in close cooperation with the severalfactors of reading frame exposes the distinctive feature of reading activity ofreader. For reading instruction, we should recognize the operation of readingframe, and discuss the method of teaching it.
