독자의 의미 표상 방법 고찰

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the methods of representation of meaning from text. Meaning representation is basic skill to reader for understanding the text. If the reader don't represent meaning of text, the reader don't understand a text. Because of, the representation of meaning is important to reader to understand text. There are several factor which are effected on the meaning representation. These are the reader's cognitive factor, context factor and social-culture factor. The theory of meaning representation are three model: the mental model, schema theory and propositional theory. And the meaning representation be have four functions: connect reader with text, fix meaning in reader's memory, take possession of meaning to reader, and be able to deep understanding text. There are methods of meaning representation according to representation theory. The mental model be have two methods: static representation and dynamic representation. The scheme theory be have two methods: subdivisional representation and expansion representation. The proposition theory be have four methods: dot representation, liner representation, square representation and solid representation. For the reading instruction have to investigate the reader's meaning representation method. The diversified methods of meaning representation should be help the student to understanding of text.
