Abstract

This paper examined Bakhtin’s concept and significance of chronotope, examined an aspect of chronotope represented in the fairy work that divided present chronotope, historical chronotope, fantastic chronotope. This have a basis that ould be examine the chronotope in two aspect of reality and fantasy represented in the fairy work. In the reality aspect, chronotope embodied the ‘now-here’ present chronotope and historical chronotope basesed the historical fact. And in the fantast aspect, chronotope embodied the fantastic chronotope based the fantastic time and space. One way, chronotopes was examined through the reader’s aesthetic reading interpreting chronotopes that did divide ‘reading the character’s chronotope experience’, ‘understanding multiple layer of chronotope that characters experience’, ‘interpreting characters’ chronotope experience relating with reader’s chronotope experience’. And, designs contents of fairy tale teaching focused in the interpreting chronotope of fairy tale work through the reader’s interpreting hierarchy. ① read the work understanding that the fairy tale have the time and space become the background. ② read the work understanding that living-fairy tale, historical-fairy tale, fantastic-fairy tale have the time and space in the different way. ③ read the work understanding that fairy tale have the time and space, multiple characters experiencing. ④ understand that time and space, multiple characters experiencing, mutual connecting, that could be differ character’s personality or action, and the theme through character’s experience about the time and space. ⑤ understand the necessity that relate time and space with his real experience, for the interpreting time and space represented in the fairy tale. ⑥ understand the relation that plan the self growth through the reflection about real world with that interpret self real experience about time and space relating character’s experience about time and space.
