Abstract

This study empirically verified the effect of their working attitudes and human error perceptions on near-miss and railway incidents for urban railroad engineers working in urban railway operating companies in the domestic metropolitan area. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the more the urban railway train operator's lack of concentration and omission of action procedures, the greater the experience of the accident, and the higher the train operator's awareness of the importance of signal violation, the less the experience of the accident. In addition, it was found that the more the urban railway train operator's lack of concentration and omission of action procedures during train operation, the more experience in railroad compliance, and the higher the awareness of the importance of signal violation, the less experience in railroad compliance. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that it is important to provide institutional and environmental improvement for urban railway train operators and to facilitate autonomous reporting in internal and external relationships in order to secure train operation safety based on a safe working attitude and human error reduction management.
