'동일성'의 공동체의 불가능성에 관한 성찰 - 면역의 정치철학을 위한 모색

본 연구는 우리 사회의 소수자에 대한 차별과 혐오의 정서가 우리 시대에 여 전히 동일성의 논리와 또 다른 방식의 생명정치를 작동시킨다고 본다. 그것은 우 리 사회의 소수자에 대한 차별과 혐오가 자기 면역의 폭력성의 양상을 보이는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 플라톤으로부터 철학이 그러한 배제와 포함의 논리를 동 일성의 관점에서 정당화해 왔다면, 또한 그에 상응하는 사회적 규범성의 관점으 로 우리의 존재와 몸이 구분, 배제, 단죄되어 왔다. 이처럼 동일자의 자기 방어적 인 닫힌 체계를 공동체라고 할 수 없다는 관점에서 자기 면역의 파괴성과 대립 하는 면역의 사회 정치철학적 관점을 이탈리아 정치철학자 에스포지토(R. Esposito)를 통해 논의해 볼 것이다. 에스포지토는 현대 면역학에서 논의되는 면 역을 긍정의 생명정치의 계기로 삼고자 한다. 결국 면역의 정치철학은 생명정치 의 시대에 기존의 공동체에 대한 관념을 근본적으로 재사유해야 할 것을 요청하 는 것이며, 나아가 공생(共生)의 공동체에 대한 모색의 일환이다.
Abstract
This study first argues that our society implements the logic of identity and the biopolitics through a affect of hatred and discrimination against minorities. Currently, discrimination and hatred against minorities are revealed as the violence of autoimmune. Since Plato, philosophy has justified exclusion and inclusion of identity as a norm, along with our existence and body being separated, excluded, and condemned from the perspective of social normality. This self defense closed system of the same person cannot be called a community, and the social and political philosophical views of immunity will be discussed through the Italian political philosopher R. Esposito. The critical thinking of immunity in Esposito’s works lead to ‘affirmative biopolitics’ based on the negation in the immunitary logic. In the end, political philosophy of immunity calls for fundamentally reinterpreting the idea of the existing community in the era of biopolitics, and is part of a quest for a symbiotic community.
