초록

이 논문에서는 스페인어의 부정양화사 alguno/algunos와 이에 대응되는 한국어문법요소들의 통사적, 의미적 특성들을 대조언어학적 관점에서 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로, 명사구의 지시성 및 특정성과 관련하여 스페인어의 부정양화사 alguno/ algunos는 문맥에 따라 한국어의 부정한정사 ‘어떤’ 또는 부정양화사 ‘몇몇’으로 대응될 수 있으며, 경우에 따라서 이들 표현들은 서로 교체되어 사용될 수 있음을 보여주고자 한다. 또한, 스페인어의 alguno/algunos와 한국어의 ‘어떤’/‘몇몇’ 사이에 관찰되는 미묘한 의미적 차이는 각각의 부정명사구 내부 구조의 차이에 기인한다고 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 한국인 스페인어 학습자들이 부정양화사 alguno/algunos와 이에 대응되는 한국어 표현들의 문법과 용례를 보다 잘 이해하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

This paper discusses the semantic and syntactic properties of the Spanish indefinite quantifiers alguno/algunos and their Korean counterparts from a contrastive perspective. Specifically, with respect to the referentiality and specificity of NPs, I show that depending on the context, alguno/algunos correspond to either the indefinite determiner ‘etten’ or the indefinite quantifier ‘mwuetmwuet’, which in some cases may be used interchangeably as corresponding elements of alguno/ algunos. I also propose that subtle semantic differences between alguno/ algunos and ‘etten’/‘mwuetmwuet’ are attributed to the internal structure of each indefinite NP. This contributes to a better understanding of the grammar and usage of the indefinite quantifiers alguno/algunos and their Korean counterparts for Korean learners of Spanish.
