스페인과 영국의 자동차 서비스 직업교육훈련에 관한 만족도 비교연구

코로나19로 많은 산업체가 어려움을 겪고 디지털 경제로의 전환이 가속화되는 과정에서 실무적인 지식과 경험이 충분하지 못한 청년들이 취업 기회 부족으로 큰 타격을 입게 되었다. 이러한 상황에서 직업교육훈련의 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 특히 기술변화에 민감한 자동차 서비스 기업의 입장에서는 직업교육훈련을 통하여 자동차 서비스 기업들이 요구하는 능력과 기술을 갖춘 청년구직자를 선호하게 된다. 본 연구는 독일연방직업훈련소(Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training)의 데이터세트를 기반으로 스페인과 영국 자동차 서비스 기업들을 대상으로 직업교육훈련에 관한 만족도 차이를 알아보았다. 분석 결과 스페인과 영국 자동차 서비스 기업들의 직업교육훈련에 관한 만족도는 국가 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 급변하는 기술변화 속에서 스페인과 영국의 자동차 서비스 기업들의 만족도를 높이기 위해서 기업들이 요구하는 관련 능력과 기술을 직업교육훈련을 통하여 청년들이 제대로 갖추어 기업들의 만족도를 고양해야 함을 시사한다. 보다 근본적인 청년실업 해결을 위해 청년들을 대상으로 기업가 정신(Entrepreneurship) 함양과 창업 활성화에도 국가적인 노력이 필요할 것이다. 향후 이차 전지, 반도체, IT, 바이오헬스 등 다른 부가가치가 높은 신산업에서의 국가 간 비교연구도 필요하다.
Abstract
Many industries have had difficulties caused by COVID-19 and young people face more challenges due to lack of their practical knowledge and experience in the process of advancing the digital economy. The importance of vocational education and training is getting more attentions under this situation. In particular, car service companies which are sensitive to technological changes prefer young job seekers with the skills and abilities required by the car service companies through vocational education and training. Based on the dataset of Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training in Germany, this study investigated the satisfaction differences of vocational education and training for the car service companies in Spain and the United Kingdom. It was found that there were statistically significant differences in the corporate satisfaction of vocational education and training in the car service companies of Spain and the UK. The results of this research indicate it is important to increase the satisfaction of the car service companies in Spain and the UK amid rapidly changing technological changes. In addition, the efforts of the countries will be necessary to foster entrepreneurship and to revitalize of entrepreneur activity for young people in order to solve youth unemployment more fundamentally. Future studies would consider comparative studies between countries in the fields of secondary battery, semiconductor, IT and bio-health.
