에듀테크 연구 동향: 키워드 네트워크 분석 방법의 적용

이 연구는 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 에듀테크 연구 동향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 최근 8년간 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)에 게재된 에듀테크 관련 194편의 논문을 선정하여 논문의 제목, 주제어, 국문 초록을 중심으로 주요 키워드를 추출하고 네트워크 분석을 통해 키워드 간 연결 관계를 파악하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 에듀테크 연구는 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 교육·산업을 중심으로 그 외의 다양한 분야에서 관련 연구가 확대·수행되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 에듀테크 연구의 주요 키워드는 ‘수업’으로 나타났으며, 연구 대상 측면에서는 학습자, 학생, 교사를 중심으로 연구 방법 측면에서는 프로그램 개발, 효과성 검증, 인식(변화) 연구가 주로 수행되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중심성 분석 결과 연결 중심성이 가장 높은 키워드는 ‘교육’이며, ‘수업’, ‘학습’, ‘학습자’, ‘학생’ 등이 상위 키워드로 도출되었다. 해당 키워드들은 네트워크상에서 타 키워드와 연결 빈도 및 강도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 토대로 에듀테크 연구의 특성을 정리하고 향후 관련 연구의 학문적 발전을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study investigates research trends in Edutech through a keyword network analysis. To achieve this, 194 KCI-indexed papers published over the past eight years were analyzed, with keywords extracted from titles, abstracts, and author-provided keywords. The main research results are summarized as follows: First, Edutech-related research has continuously increased and expanded beyond education and industry. Second, the most frequent keyword was ‘class.’ In terms of subjects, research focused on learners, students, and teachers, with program development, effectiveness verification, and recognition (change) studies employed as the dominant methodologies. Third, centrality analysis revealed ‘education’ as the keyword with the highest degree centrality, while ‘class,’ ‘learning,’ ‘learner,’ and ‘student’ also showed strong connections with other terms in the network. Based on these research results, this study highlights the key characteristics of Edutech research and offers implications for its future academic development.
