최근 통신 분야에서 유무선 융합이 큰 이슈가 되고 있으며 FMC를 중심으로 다양한 유무선 융합 상용 서비스들이 제공되고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 본 논문에서는 유무선 융합의 흐름을 이해하고 향후 전망과 대응전략을 파악하고자 다양한 유무선 융합 서비스의 개념을 정의하고 구체적인 서비스 현황 및 사례를 살펴보고자 한다. 구체적으로 FMC 서비스 중심 기존 유무선 융합 서비스의 한계와 향후 펨토셀을 기반으로 한 유무선 융합의 사업 기회에 대해 분석한다.
Abstract
In recent telecommunication industry, one of the biggest issues is the convergence of wire & wireless communication. Several services utilize this converged network have been introduced to the public and this proliferation is centralized around Fixed Mobile Convergence(FMC). This paper will base on these aspects to forecast the effects and strategic plan necessary to adapt to these changes. The detail analysis and conclusion will be drawn from justifying the definition of converged network services and presenting some of realistic examples, especially specifying limitation of FMC oriented services and business opportunity of femtocell services.
