IP기반 유무선 통합 FMC(Fixed Mobile Convergence)는 단말이 이기종 액세스망간 이동시 끊김없는 서비스 지원을 위한 기술이다. 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project)에서는 IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)기반 FMC에 대한 표준을 TS 23.206, TS 24.206 문서를 통해 진행이다. 본 논문에서는 유무선 통합을 위한 IMS기반 FMC 구조를 고찰하고, 끊김없는 서비스 지원을 위한 IMS기반 FMC의 VCC(Voice Call Continuity) 절차에 대해 분석한다. 또한 최근 FMC의 적용 사례연구를 통해 다양한 FMC 응용프로토콜 개발을 위한 시험망을 설계하고 VCC AS(Application Server) 실험 구성을 제시한다.
Abstract
The IP-based FMC(Fixed Mobile Convergence) technology is to support the service continuity of mobile terminals across heterogeneous access networks. The standardization of FMC technology is progressing in 3GPP as TS 23.206, TS 24.206 documents. In this paper, we review the structure of the IMS-based FMC and analyze the procedure of VCC(Voice Call Continuity). And, we design a testbed and propose a experimental configuration of VCC AS for various FMC applications after case studying of some FMC products.
