Abstract
The purpose of this study is gifted children's memory span and executive funcion to normals. In order to accomplish such purpose, the research questions were established as follows. First, what's difference between gifed children group's memory span and normal children's. Second, what's difference between gifted children group's executive function and normal children group's executive function. In this study the memory span test was number memory work directly. Memorizing test was a measure of memory span between memory span's the minimum value and the maximum value. These are developed by getting advice of gifted education expert. In this study executive function test is a manner how to process of position information and hearing information at the same time with memory span test. Researcher developed it by getting advice of an expert. An experimental subject was tested and recorded the result. Each result of the group statistics. The results of this study are following. First, there was difference of memory span between gifted children's group and normal group. It means two group have a same chunk that is a storage. Gifted children's group has a great practical use of chunk than normal children's group. In the result of that there was a meaningful difference between gifted children's group and normal children's group. Second, the difference of two group's executive function made different results on a case-by-case basis. What if number memory work combining with hearing information is process what recall already studied content. Gifted children have a excellent ability to accept a new information than normal children. In conclusion there was no difference between gifted children's size of storage and normal children's. But gifted children were good at using it than normal children. There was no difference between two groups recalling leading learning in executive function and memorizing a new information. However gifted children were good at memorizing a new information than normal children.
