본 연구의 목적은 가족치료의 첫 회기에서 일어나는 내담자와 상담자 간의 대화구조인 대화원형을 분석하고 가족치료 상담자의 의사소통 전략을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구목적을 위하여 대화분석방법을 이용한 문헌연구와 자료 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 자료는 3명의 가족치료 전문 상담자에 의해 실시된 7사례의 가족치료 첫 회기 상담사례를 수집하고 문자화하였다. 가족치료 첫 회기의 대화원형은 5개의 기능단계로 도출되었다.; ‘분위기 조성 단계’, ‘문제규명 단계’, ‘목표설정 단계’, ‘계약 단계’, 그리고 ‘종료 단계’. 상담자는 상담에 편안한 분위기를 조성하고, 복수의 내담자들과의 관계역동을 이용함으로써 상담 참여를 거절하는 내담자의 동기를 촉진하고, 상담의 만족도와 지속적 참여를 유도하기위해 종료단계에서 충분한 재설명과 재해석의 전략을 시도하였다. 가족치료 첫 회기의 기능단계는 명확하게 구분되고 순서적으로 나타나고 있지는 않지만 단계가 누락될 경우 상담이 원활하게 진행되지 못하는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 그러므로 상담자들은 각 기능단계를 구획하여 상담을 계획하고 체계적으로 실행함으로써 내담자에게 만족스런 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 상담자가 상담계획과정에서 전체적인 상담과정에 대한 개관을 얻을 수 있고, 각 단계별로 내담자의 예측되는 행위에 대한 전략을 준비할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있으며 가족치료 상담자 훈련을 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the dialog pattern on the first session of family therapy, and explore the conversation strategy of the family therapy counsellor. The researcher studied literature and analyzed data using dialog analysis. For the study, the data was collected the first session counselling dialog of 7 cases conducted by 3 family therapy counsellors, and transcribed. The dialogue pattern on first session of family therapy was deduced 5 functional phase.; 'mood formation', 'problem-define', 'goal-setting', 'contract' and 'conclusion'. The counsellor forms a cozy mood, motivates uncooperative client to participate at the counselling process using the dynamic relation with the other client, attempts to a sufficient re-explanation and re-interpretation strategy to induce the satisfaction and continuous participation of client. The functional phase of the first session of family therapy is not definitely divided, and indicated in regular order, but if any phase is left out, counselling does not proceed with effective. The counsellors will be able to get good results for the client from planning counselling based on the phases, and applying it systematically. This study is significant in that the counsellor can catch an overview of the entire counselling process, and get ready for a strategy to expected act from the client by each phases, and it deserves being used for provide an data in the training program of the family therapy counsellors.
