周易繫辭傳 釋義硏究(三) - 易學思想의 本原과 人類文化發展論을 中心으로 -

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to state clearly not only the meaning of heaven(乾) and earth(坤) but also the efficacy of four-images(四象). And, the four-images are as royang(老陽), roeum(老陰), jin-gam-gan-soyang-gwae(震坎艮小陽卦), son-ri-tae-so-eum -gwae (巽離兌少陰卦). Also, this study is to prove lucidly application of I-Ching and ground the newly compiled Copula commentary. As the results of this study, the main points are as follows. 1. First of all, in this study I researched explicitly the meaning of heaven(乾) and earth(坤). 2. The heaven and the earth are so vast, extensive. By the way, we must have a correct understanding that the vast cardinal points are in heaven and earth. Confucius was worthy of the highest admiration about utmost of I-Ching. this reasons are due to high virtues and wide works of I-Ching. 3. Formations of I-Ching beginning with hunting culture applied to twelve divination signs of the Copula commentary with the change of history. Also, its expressed to twelve stages of the oriental culture development. This hopes of the human beings and cultural developments with accelerated velocity were begun with virtues and essences of each divination signs. Therefore, I-Ching created cultures and view point of it's nature made an offer to philosophy. 4. Sages put into interpretation of yo(爻) seeing all things in the universe(萬象) and all movement in the universe(萬動). This is doctrines of Changes. Actually, This examples are as follows. joongbugwae(中孚卦), dongingwae(同人卦), daegwagwae(大過卦), gyumgwae(謙卦), geongwae(乾卦), julgwae(節卦), haegwae(解卦), etc.
