周易의 天地人 三才와 作卦의 원리에 관한 고찰

Abstract

Although the Samjae(三才) has a very important meaning in 『the Book of Changes (周易)』, the basic thought system that constitutes I-ching(易經) is that the structure of the counterpart which is based on Yin-Yang(陰陽) is basic. It seems like the sentence of “Taegeuk begets two instruments(兩儀), two instruments gives birth to four elements, and four elements give birth to the eight trigrams.” in 『the Book of Changes from Xicizhuan (繫辭傳)』 Of course, from the point of view of loyalty and due diligence, it is undeniable that the Samjae(三才) or the three poles, like the principle of the yin and yang Tui Tai(陰陽對待), are also important principles of I-ching(易經), and that the existence and role of human beings among the Samjae(三才) are so important that it cannot be overstated even if human beings are all of I-ching(易經)Even though the Samjae(三才) is such an important factor, from the ontological dimension of I-ching(易經), it is only used to indicate the upper, middle and lower positions in the form of the three strokes of the Trigrams(八卦) and the six strokes of the Hexagrams(大成卦) after the establishment of the strokes(卦劃). the Samjae(三才) doesn't seem to play a very important role. In this thesis, under the premise that human beings play a particularly important role among the Samjae(三才), not only in the dimension of DangWu(當爲) but also in the dimension of existence, the meaning and role of the Samjae(三才) in the process of making Hexagrams and producing Hexagram by Counting Milfoil Stalks(揲蓍求卦) will be considered.
