말하기․글쓰기의 통합적 커뮤니케이션 교육 - 인터뷰를 활용한 대학 수업 모형 연구

오늘날 대학에서는 기초 커뮤니케이션 교육의 중요성을 인식하고 있으며 따라서 말하기와 글쓰기 같은 강좌는 보다 활성화될 것으로 보인다. 하지만 교육 현장에서의 특정 커뮤니케이션 양식에 대한 편향적 교육, 말하기와 글쓰기 교육의 비통합적 운영 등은 지양해야할 대표적인 문제점이다. 커뮤니케이션의 본질에 토대를 두고, 보다 효율적이면서 통합적인 커뮤니케이션 교육 방법론과 다양한 수업 모형들이 개발되어야 한다. 본 논의에서는 인터뷰를 활용한 커뮤니케이션 교육안을 제시한다. 이 교육안의 과정과 효과에 대해 간략히 정리하면 다음과 같다. 특정한 목표를 수립하고, 그 목표에 도달하기 위해 아이디어를 도출하고 전략을 세운다. 학습자들이 질문을 만들고, 다양한 관련 자료를 조사 분석하고, 역동적이고 가변적인 대화 현장에서 대처방안을 배운다. 말하기 위해 잘 들어야 하며, 중요한 정보를 듣기 위해 어떻게 말해야 하는지를 배운다. 생생한 메시지를 직접 들을 수 있으며, 누군가의 삶과 생각, 가치관을 살필 수 있다. 타인의 시각을 수용하고, 상대방의 시각으로 세상을 보기도 한다. 이를 통해 인간에 대한 이해를 확장하고 반성적 소통 행위를 습득할 수 있다. 인터뷰 과정에서도 글쓰기가 가능하며, 또한 인터뷰 결과를 활용하여 다양한 다시 쓰기를 수행할 수 있다. 또한 다른 사람들에게 타인의 말과 타인에 말에 대한 나의 평가나 분석을 다시 들려줄 수 있다. 또한 인터뷰 활용 커뮤니케이션 교육은 학습자들에게 여러 가지 실질적인 효과를 줄 수 있다. 대화나 면접 상황에서의 대화 능력을 기를 수 있으며, 정보 처리 능력이나 정보전달 혹은 분석적 쓰기 능력 등을 기를 수 있다.
Abstract
In today's universities recognize the importance of basic education and communication education, and therefore speaking and writing as basic communication training courses seem to be more prevalent. But in education of university, specific patterns of communication education are being emphasized and speaking and writing are not yet integrated in communication education. Building on the essence of communication, we have to develop efficient and integrated communication training methodology and various teaching models. In this paper, I suggest the teaching model by using interview. In this model, students' training courses are as follows. Students set learning objectives, investigate a variety of materials, have an interview with someone of their choice, sift through the informations and write a manuscript for the presentation, and give a presentation. The following are the educational results. Students perform a variety of tasks as reading[survey], writing[data collection and clean-up and make a report], listening and speaking[interview and presentation] at the same time. Students should learn how to speak in order to listen to important information. Students can listen to other people's vivid information and will have a chance to view from the perspective of another person. Through that process students understand more about men and society and will learn to communicate in a reflexive action.
