待遇表現に現れた文化的背景と日本人の論理構造

Abstract

This article conducted a survey focusing on the cultural influences behind treatment expressions and the logical structure of Japanese people. In addition to the basic concept of consideration for others in various forms of treatment language and behavior, Japan’s unique concept of “Seken(tei)” is found to be at the root of the complex structure, and behavior within a group work. The results of the survey can be summarized as follows. 1. Among the treatment expressions, respect for the concept of “upper and lower” and humble words have faded with the changing times, while polite words with strong concepts of “inside and outside” and “friendliness” are spreading more widely. 2. It can be said that the “Seken(tei)” consciousness, one of the basic principles of Japanese behavior, plays a strong role in the expression of treatment. 3. The cultural characteristics of the Japanese are that they are educated from an early age to distinguish their position in the group and act appropriately, and they grow up in such a social atmosphere, so they naturally settle into the world body. 4. The world “Seken(tei)” is the central concept that constitutes modern Japanese society, and the essence of harmony, which can be said to be the truth of Japanese culture.
