최근 다양한 환경문제에 관한 관심이 증대되면서 인간의 삶에서 생태계서비스의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 생태계서비스 중 인간생활과 밀접한 연관성이 있는 문화서비스의 잠재적 가치를 파악하는 것이 환경보호에 선행되어야 할 과제임에도 불구하고, 국립공원 내 문화서비스 평가를 위한 속성 도출이 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국립공원 전문가들을 대상으로 문화서비스의 개념과 특성 그리고 심층적 의견을 기반으로 혼합연구방법을 활용하여 문화서비스 주요 속성들을 도출하고자 한다. 국립공원 전문가 심층 인터뷰 및 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 국립공원 문화서비스의 개념과 속성에 대한 내용타당성을 검토하였으며, 주요 속성들(휴양·경관·치유·문화자원·교육·영감)을 도출하였다. 문화서비스에 대한 상대적 중요도의 분석결과, 휴양·경관·치유의 가중치가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 향후 연구에서는 횡단적 연구보다 문화서비스의 변화를 파악할 수 있는 종단적 연구가 필요하다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
As various environmental concerns have been increased, ecosystem services play an important role in individuals’ lives. Despite the fact that the evaluation of cultural services values would be the first task to protect natural environments, there are limited studies on exploration of cultural service attributes in national parks. The purpose of this study was to explore the importance of cultural services attributes based on mixed research methods, including park experts’ in-depth interview and survey. Results of this study provided preliminary evidence on content validity of definitions and attributes of cultural services. Specifically, this study also found that there were important attributes of cultural services, including relaxation, landscape, and therapy. Future research focuses on longitudinal studies involving repeated observation of the same variables over long period of time, in contrast with cross-sectional research.
