국립공원 방문목적에 따른 탐방객의 지각된 가치 및 행동의도 차이 분석

최근 국립공원의 방문 수요가 증가하고 있으며, 이에 따라 보호지역으로서 국립공원은 탐방객들에게 다양한 사회문화적·정서적 편익들을 제공하고 있다. 국립공원 방문수요가 증가하면서 생태관광 등 친환경적 특성 관련 관광행태와 행동의도의 중요성이 부각됨에도 불구하고, 변화하는 탐방트렌드에 부응하는 탐방객의 방문목적에 따른 행태 및 행동의도에 관한 종합적 분석은 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국립공원 탐방객들을 대상으로 탐방객의 주요 방문목적에 따른 탐방객의 지각된 가치와 행동의도 사이의 차이를 분석하고자 한다. 산악형 국립공원 탐방객의 설문조사 결과, 탐방객의 주요 방문목적을 휴양·경관감상·치유·문화유산 체험으로 구분하였다. 탐방객의 방문 목적은 지각된 가치들 중 정서적·사회적·종교적 가치에 유의미한 차이를 확인하였으며, 주요 방문목적들 중 휴양·치유·경관감상·문화유산 체험 순으로 가치 인식의 수준이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 탐방객의 방문목적에 따라 지각된 가치가 행동의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 밝혔다. 향후 연구에서는 사적형 및 해상해안형 국립공원 탐방객들을 대상으로 질적 연구방법을 병행하는 혼합연구가 필요하다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
As the demand of visitation in national parks increases, the national park provides visitors with a variety of social and emotional benefits. Despite the fact that it is important issues to identify visitors’ behavioral types and intentions, there are limited studies on examining visitors’ behavioral types and intentions in national parks. The purpose of this study was to explore the differences of visitors’ perceived value and behavioral intention based on the purpose of a visit in national parks. Results of this study identified four types of the purpose of a visit in national parks, including relaxation, sight seeing, therapy, and cultural resources. This study also indicated that there were significant differences of social, emotional, and religious values based on the purpose of a visit. Additionally, this study found that there were significant differences of visitors’ perceived values and behavioral intentions based on the purpose of a visit in national parks. Future research focuses on visitors’ behavioral types and intentions based on mixed research methods including visitors’in-depth interview and survey.
