GWR과 공간 군집 분석 기법을 이용한 중심지 식별: 대구광역시를 사례로

초록

중심지 식별을 위하여 임계치 방법, 모수 방법, 비모수 방법 등이 활용되어 왔다. 이러한 접근들은 공통적으로 개별 공간 단위 별로 평가된 결과를 바탕으로 중심지를 식별하기 때문에 결과만으로 공간 단위의 집합인 중심지의 위계(중심성의 차이)를 파악하는 것이 어렵다. 또한 중심지 식별과 관련된 국내의 기존 연구의 경우, 동과 같은 행정구역을 분석의 기본 공간 단위로 사용하였다. 그러나 이러한 공간 단위는 내적 이질성 때문에 중심지를 포함한 지역이지 중심지 자체의 범역이라 볼 수 없다. 본 연구의 목적은 연속적이면서 위계를 갖는 중심지 범역을 식별하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 블록 수준에서 측정된 지가 데이터에 비모수 통계 기법인 GWR을 적용한 후 산출된 잔차에 공간 군집 분석 기법의 하나인 AMOEBA를 적용하여 중심지를 식별하였다. 대구 광역시를 사례로 분석을 수행한 결과, GWR의 잔차에 AMOEBA 군집 분석을 적용함으로써 중심지의 위치, 범역, 위계의 식별이 향상되었다.

Abstract

Threshold, parametric and non-parametric methods have been utilized in order to identify centers in urban areas. These approaches commonly derive centers by evaluating individual spatial units rather than relationships among spatial units consisting of the centers. As a result, it is difficult to figure out the hierarchy of centers or difference in centrality. In addition, as the existing studies related to the topic in Korea have been based on administrative districts like Dong being spatially heterogeneous, identified centers are the regions containing their actual spatial boundary. Given this, the purpose of this paper is to identify the spatial area of continuous and hierarchical centers. For this, GWR (geographically weighted regression) and AMOEBA (A Multidirectional Optimal Ecotope-Based Algorithm) which is a spatial clustering method were utilized. The analysis was performed at the scale of block with land value. The method was applied to Daegu Metropolitan City. The analysis results demonstrate that the method could improve the identifications of location, spatial area, and hierarchy of centers compared with the existing approaches.
