韓国人日本語学習者に見られる「ながら」の使用上の特徴 ―日本語教育文法を目指して―

本稿は韓国人日本語学習者の「ながら」の使用上の特徴を分析し、「ながら」の教育文法を記述しようとしたものである。作文調査と追加調査を実施した結果、韓国人日本語学習者は同時進行はある程度理解していると考えられる。誤用のパターンは主節に動作動詞を用いない誤用、従属節「ながら」の事態と主節の事態を混同する誤用、「ながら」節に瞬間動詞が用いられる誤用である。そのため、文法書の説明では不十分であると考えられる。韓国人日本語学習者に適切な教育文法は「ながら」に瞬間動詞を用いるということ、主節にも形容詞、状態動詞を用いないこと、そして、「ながら」節と主節にくる事態の特徴として、主節に来るものが主要な動作であることを教えるべきであると考えられる。
Abstract
This study analyzes the usage of nagara by Korean Japanese learners and attempts to describe pedagogic grammar for this form. The results of research on writing and other studies suggest that Korean learners of Japanese understand the sense of simultaneous action of nagara to some extent. Common error patterns are the failure to use an action verb in the main clause, confusion of the situation of the subordinate clause in nagara with that of the main clause, and use of a momentary verb in the nagara clause. These errors indicate areas where the explanations in the grammar books are insufficient. Appropriate teaching grammar for Korean learners of Japanese should include instruction to use momentary verbs in nagara or adjectives or static verbs in the main clause, and that the verb for the main action is placed in the main clause.
