本研究は、JPT(日本語能力試験)の聴解パートにおける成績向上を目的とし、認知ストラテジーと超認知ストラテジーを統合した指導プログラムの効果を検証したものである。日本語学習者30名（中位·下位集団）を対象に、10週間の戦略指導を実施した。指導内容は、JPTの各パート（写真描写、応答選択、対話文、説明文）の特性に合わせ、「チャンク単位での聞き取り」「選択的聴取」「ノートテイキング」「発話意図の予測」などの戦略で構成された。その結果、量的分析では聴解点数が統計的に有意に向上し、特にPart 3(対話文理解)とPart 4(説明文理解)で最も顕著な伸び率が確認された。質的分析（面談·学習日誌）からは、学習者が従来の「単語中心の聞き取り」から、「チャンク単位での意味把握」や「超認知戦略（計画、モニターリング）」を活用する戦略的聴取へと移行した過程が明らかになった。また、聴解に対する自信や集中力の向上など、定義的要因にも肯定的な改善が見られた。本研究の結果は、課題に適合した統合的ストラテジー指導が、初中級学習者に見られる「戦略の認識」と「実際の使用」とのギャップを効果的に埋め、JPT聴解能力の向上に不可欠であることを示唆している。
Abstract
This study investigated the effects of a 10-week integrated cognitive and metacognitive strategy instruction program on the listening comprehension of 30 intermediate / lower-level university students taking the JPT. Instruction was tailored to each JPT section. The quantitative results showed a statistically significant improvement in listening scores (p<.001). The most substantial gains were observed in Parts 3 (Conversation Comprehension) and 4 (Explanatory Text Comprehension). A qualitative analysis of interviews and learning logs revealed a clear shift from passive, word-by-word listening to active, strategic listening. The instruction also yielded significant affective benefits, including enhanced confidence (87%), improved focus (74%), and reduced listening anxiety (63%). The findings indicate that this task-appropriate, integrated strategy instruction is highly effective. It successfully closed the critical "cognition-execution gap" observed in these learners and enhanced their metacognitive awareness, ultimately improving their listening achievement in a business Japanese context.
