The purpose of this paper is to determine the ‘-O-’ distribution in the dependent noun syntax shown in the 15th century, is to look at the correlation of the actualization of ‘-O-’ and the noun properties of dependent noun. The discussion can be summarized as follows First, the list of dependent nouns were classified. A list were classified into three groups according to the degree of noun properties. The first is the class of the strongest the noun properties that satisfy both conditions (Type 1), and the second is less intense class of the noun properties to partly satisfy two conditions (Type II), and the third is the weak class of the noun properties that do not satisfy the two conditions (Type 3). Next, determine the distribution of the ‘-O-’. In type1, the ‘-O-’ were appearing and disappearing. In type2,3, however, did not appear ‘-O-’. Finally, through the above results and the historical changes of the dependent noun, confirmed the correlation between the actualization of ‘-O-’ and the noun properties of dependent noun.
