한자어 접두사의 사전적 처리 연구 -『표준국어대사전』을 중심으로 -

이 글에서는 『표준국어대사전』에 등재된 한자어 접두사를 대상으로 그 사전적 처리 양상을 분석하기 위해 한자어 접두사의 문법적 특징을 확인하고 사전 기술 방식의 방향을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 한자어 접두사와 관련된 이론을 먼저 살피면서 한자어 접두사의 특징을 정리했다. 한자어 접두사는 일반적으로 어휘적 특징이 강해 고유어 접두사에 비해 문법성이 약한 것으로 평가되지만, 본고에서는 한자어 접두사도 고유한 문법적 특징을 갖는 문법 형태로 보고 문법화의 정도성도 함께 확인했다. 『표준국어대사전』의 거시 및 미시 구조를 분석해 표제어 등재 여부 및 뜻풀이와 용례, 관련 어휘 등을 두루 살펴 체계적인 사전적 처리를 위한 방안을 제안했다. 한자어 접두사의 사전적 처리를 검토해 보완이 필요한 부분을 지적하고, 나아가 수정 방향에 대해 제시하고자 했다. 이를 위해 『표준국어대사전』의 거시 구조와 미시 구조를 나누어 살폈으며, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 한자어 접두사를 사전에서 처리하기 위해서는 새로운 한자어 접두사의 등재와 일관된 기호 표시 등이 필요함을 제안했다. 본 연구는 한자어 접두사가 여전히 문법화 과정에 있으며, 그 기술 방식 또한 개별 접두사의 특성에 맞춘 유연한 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the lexicographical treatment of Chinese prefixes listed in Korean Language Dictionary by examining their grammatical features and proposing directions for their effective dictionary description. Although Chinese prefixes are generally regarded as having strong lexical properties and weaker grammatical characteristics compared to Korean prefixes, this study recognizes them as grammatical forms with distinct features and explores the degree of their grammaticalization. The study investigates the inclusion of definition, usage examples and related vocabulary, thereby proposing strategies in dictionary. This study suggests a systematic approach for their lexicographical representation. The findings indicate that Chinese prefixes are still undergoing grammaticalization and that a flexible, prefix-specific descriptive strategy is essential for accurate and comprehensive dictionary treatment.
