본 연구는 다문화 청소년이 경험하는 사회적 위축과 사이버불링 간의 관계에서 공격성이 매개효과를 검증하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년정책연구원이 실시한 2023년 제5차 다문화청소년패널조사의 1,678명 데 이터를 활용하여 분석하였다. SPSS 29.0을 사용하여 연구에 사용한 변수의 빈도분석과 기술 통계치를 측정하였고, 측 정된 변수 간의 상관관계를 파악하기 위한 상관분석과 경로분석을 위한 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 매개효과의 통계적 유의성 검토는 Process Macro 4.3 프로그램을 통해 Bootstrapping 기법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 사회적 위축을 경험한 조사대상자는 56.5%으로 나타났고, 전체 15.7%가 사이버불링 가해 경험이 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 사회적 위축과 사이버불링은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적관계를 보였다. 셋째, 사회적 위축과 사이버불링과의 관계 에서 공격성은 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 사물인터넷 시대에 다문화 청소년의 사회적 위축이 온라인상에서 사이버불링의 문제를 촉발시키는 가능성을 확인하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to verify the mediating effect of aggression in the relationship between social withdrawal and cyber-bullying experienced by multicultural adolescents. The data were analyzed using data from 1,678 people from the 5th Multicultural Youth Panel Survey conducted by the Korea Institute for Children and Youth Policy in 2023. Using SPSS 29.0, frequency analysis and descriptive statistics of variables used in the study were measured, and correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed to determine the correlation between measured variables. The statistical significance of the mediating effect was reviewed using the Bootstrapping technique through the Process Macro 4.3 program. As a result of the study, first, 56.5% of the subjects experienced social withdrawal, and 15.7% of the total were found to have experienced cyber-bullying. Second, social withdrawal and cyber-bullying showed a statistically significant positive relationship. Third, in the relationship between social withdrawal and cyber-bullying, aggression has a complete mediating effect. This study is meaningful in that it confirmed the possibility that the social withdrawal of multicultural adolescents in the internet of things society triggers the problem of cyber-bullying online.
