This paper provides an evaluation of the current state and roadmap of educationalapps on mobile devices for korean education. Current issues and research workunder education apps for korean learners showed along the last ten years areintroduced and analyzed. Apps would thus be categorized according to thelearner’s language and learning contents in each field. Based on the research, theguidelines and evaluation criteria of apps for korean education will be suggested. Finally, the challenges educational apps has to take up, as well as future researchwill be discussed.
