This study aims to compare foreign students' writing text to Korean students' in language proficiency and text structure and to investigate correlation between language proficiency and text structure using statistic methods. To analyze which factor influences on evaluation result is another purpose of this work. The result shows that firstly, the language proficiency of foreigners' text appeared to be lower than Koreans' in accuracy, fluency and complexity. Secondly, Koreans' text structure appeared to be similar to high rank writers' while foreigners' appeared to be similar to low rank writers'. Lastly, the higher the language proficiency of the foreigner's text is, the more similar characteristics to Koreans' appeared. Considering these results, it is recommended that KAP writing education need to be focused on text structure instead of language forms.
