한국어 겹문장 체계에서 서술어의 논항으로 기능하는 절의 문제

In this paper, we reviewed on the issues of Korean complex sentence, and proved that these issues is caused by the limited discussion of the concept of Korean embedding within the part-of-speech system. Further, In the Korean language, We studied that the predicate of higher sentence required clause as its complement, and for example, we looked at quotative clause, SEA construction, and essential adverbals. Accordingly, We discussed that is should be divided into the embedding of part-of-speech and the embedding of sentence constituent to incorporate these clauses into the Korean complex sentence system, and describe that the embedding clause in terms of sentence comstituent by dividing them into “complement clause” and “adjunct clause”. the complement clause is required as complement by the predicate of higher sentence and the adjunct clause is not required by the predicate of higher sentence, but function as an adjunct of the sentence.
Abstract
