조선어학회 사건 관련 언어 민족주의 담론 분석

The purpose of this paper is to examine the formation, change, overlap and intersection of linguistic nationalist discourses of Korea through the analysis of discourses during and after the Affair of Korean Language Society (Joseoneohakhoe). First of all, this paper determines the status and significance of language movement by Korean Language Society in relations with other academic and cultural movements in the 1930s, specially with Joseon Studies movement. And then, the linguistic nationalist discourses during and after the affair of Korean Language Society are analyzed minutely. The discourses during the affair can be divided into two types, namely the discourse of defense counsel and the discourse of justice department. The discourses after the affair can be divided into three types, namely the discourse of victims of distortion and manipulation, the discourse of heros of anti-Japanese national independence, and the critical discourse on the discourse of heros. Through the above discussion, this paper confirms that the discourse of defense counsel during the affair is very similar to the discourse of victims of distortion and manipulation after the affair and that the discourse of justice department during the affair is strongly resemblant to the discourse of heros of anti-Japanese national independence after the affair. This paper indicates also the similar logic between the discourse of defense counsel and the discourse of conversion.
Abstract
