어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체 운영에 대한 보육교사의 인식, 실태 및 요구분석

본 연구는 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체 운영에 대한 보육교사의 인식, 실태 및 요구를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체 활성화를 위한 지원 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 D지역 어린이집에서 근무하고 있는 보육교사 175명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 29.0v 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 대응표본 t-검증, Borich 요구도 분석과 The Locus for Focus 모델 유형 분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체에 대한 보육교사의 전반적인 인식을 살펴보면, 보육교사들은 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체에 대해 대체적으로 잘 이해하고 있었으며 필요성도 높이 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체 운영 실태에 대해 살펴본 결과, 보육교사들은 기관의 운영 방침에 따라원장이 리더로 주도하는 전문적학습공동체에 참여하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어린이집 내전문적학습공동체 운영에 대한 보육교사의 요구를 살펴본 결과, 어린이집 차원과 국가 및 지자체차원에서 최우선으로 지원해야 할 사항으로 ‘업무 경감 및 재구조화’가 공통적으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 어린이집 내 전문적학습공동체가 활성화되기 위해서는 국가, 지자체, 어린이집 간의다각적인 협력과 제도적․정책적 차원의 실질적인 지원이 뒷받침되어야 함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study analyzes early childhood teachers’ perceptions, actual conditions, and needs regarding the operation of professional learning communities within daycare centers and explores support measures for their revitalization. To this end, a survey was conducted with 175 early childhood teachers working at daycare centers in D area. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 29.0v program through frequency analysis, paired-sample t-tests, Borich needs assessment, and locus-for-focus model analysis. The main findings are as follows. First, early childhood teachers recognized the necessity of professional learning communities within daycare centers and demonstrated positive overall perceptions. Second, regarding the current operational status, teachers often participated in professional learning communities led by directors according to institutional policies. Third, an analysis of teachers’ needs revealed that “reduction and restructuring of workloads” were consistently identified as the highest priority for support at both the daycare center level and the national and local government levels. These results suggest that, for the successful revitalization of professional learning communities within daycare centers, multifaceted collaboration and substantial institutional and policy-level support among the government, local authorities, and daycare centers are essential.
