셸링 철학에 있어서 이성의 근거와 그 타자 - 철학의 원리에 대한 고찰

본 논문은 셸링의 1821년 에어랑엔 강의안을 고찰한다. 그리고 이 고찰에서 근본적으로 다음과 같은 물음이 다루어진다. 즉 체계로서의 철학의 원리는 무엇인가? 또한 그 원리와 이성의 관계는 무엇인가? 특히 이와 같은 물음에 대한 답을 찾는 과정 속에서 우리는 이성의 존재론적 의미와 그 근거가 무엇인지를 제시한다. 제시되는 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 철학의 원리는 영원한 자유로서의 초월적 주체이다. 둘째, 이 초월적 주체는 이성의 내면성이자 그 근거이다. 셋째, 이성은 자신의 근거인 초월적 주체를 알 수 없는 타자로 이해한다. 넷째, 이성은 자신을 포기할 때 자신의 근거를 만날 수 있다. 따라서 철학은 이성의 자기 포기인 탈각과 더불어 시작된다.
Abstract
This paper studies the lectures schelling gave in Erlangen in 1820-1, which Horst Fuhrmans published in 1969 on the basis of notes taken by a member of the audience, under the title Initia Philosophiae Universae, and part of which Schelling's son published under the title On the Nature of Philosophy as a Science. The aim of this paper is to give an answer the questions, what is the principle of philosophy as system, and how the reason is related to the principle. In the process of searching the answers, the ontological meaning and ground of reason is explained additionally. The conclusions of this paper are summarized as follows First, the principle of philosophy is transzendent subject as eternal freedom. Second, the transzendent subject is the ground of reason as its inner side. Third, the reason takes its ground for the other, which it doesn't grasp. Fourth, the reason can approach its Ground, only when it gives itself up.
