Abstract
Looking at the acceptance of scientific knowledge in 1920~30's, you can grasp closer cooperation in science and literature. First, this study examined that contemporary understanding of the science in any way. A main factor is that the contemporary is to understand science in the same way as literature. That is to understand as the product of th imagination. In addition, contemporary is to understand that science fiction's writers and their works have the prophetic nature. Next, this study was analyzed politics of class and gender through robot as one fashion of the scientific discourse. And this paper was examined that how to accept 'robot' by mass of colonial era means of literature. Karel Capek's SF Rossum’s Universal Robots(1921)translated into Artificial Laborer(1925) of Younghee, Park. This study was analyzed into the target text by Artificial Laborer(1925) of Younghee, Park. Modern colonial intellectuals establish anthropology while body of a new knowledge titled by science. That was turned out to literature representation of the emergence of robot and utopia. This process researched on connectivity of the 'mutual aid' and 'technocracy'. Aspirations of modern colony to establish on the social reconstruction and the 'new anthropology' were seriously affected by imagination of SF in planning technology utopia. Furthermore, robot acted on the capitalist desire organ and the colonialㆍclass desire organ inquiring nature of humanity.
