본 논문의 목적은 2022 개정 통합 교과용 도서의 음악 관련 내용을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으 로 초등 저학년 통합 교과용 도서의 개선 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구에서는 음악 교육학자들의 발달 단계 이론을 토대로 초등 저학년 학생들의 음악적 발달 특성을 살펴보고, 5차 교육과정부터 2022 개정 즐거운 생활 교육과정까지의 음악교육 내용 변화를 비교ᆞ분석 하였다. 이를 토대로 초등 저학년에 적합한 음악 내용 및 활동을 도출하여 2022 개정 통합 교과서 16권과 교사용 지도서 4권에 포함된 음악 관련 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따른 개선 방향은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들이 단계적으로 음악 개념을 습득하도록 음악 요소 학 습 체계를 구축해야 한다. 둘째, 가창 활동 내 편중된 활동 구성을 개선하고, 기악, 감상, 창 작 등 다양한 음악 활동을 균형 있게 제공해야 한다. 셋째, 학생들이 창의적인 음악 경험을 할 수 있도록 창작 활동을 다변화해야 한다. 넷째, 학생들이 음악 용어와 악보를 정확하게 이 해할 수 있도록 관련 내용의 정확성을 제고해야 한다. 이 연구를 바탕으로 초등 저학년의 발 달 단계에 맞는 체계적이고 균형 있는 교육과정 및 교과용 도서의 개선이 이루어지기를 기대 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the music-related content in the 2022 revised integrated textbook Pleasant Life and propose directions for improving elementary lower-grade integrated textbooks. Based on developmental stage theories proposed by music education scholars, this study examines the musical development characteristics of lower elementary students and compares changes in music education content from the 5th curriculum to the 2022 revised Pleasant Life curriculum. Using these findings, appropriate musical content and activities for lower elementary students were identified, and an analysis was conducted on 16 integrated textbooks and 4 teacher guides from the 2022 revised curriculum. The study suggests the following directions for improvement: First, a structured system for learning musical elements should be established to help students acquire musical concepts progressively. Second, the predominance of singing activities should be addressed by providing a balanced variety of musical activities, including instrumental performance, listening, and creative activities. Third, creative activities should be diversified to foster students’ creative musical experiences. Fourth, the accuracy of musical terminology and notation should be enhanced to ensure students' precise understanding. This study aims to contribute to the development of a more structured and balanced curriculum and instructional materials that align with the developmental stages of lower elementary students.
