장기간 지속되고 있는 코로나 팬데믹은 우리에게 매우 다양한 문제점과 시사점을 던져주고 있지만 그에 대한 철학적 성찰은 미비한 편이다. 본 논문은 코로나 팬데믹 시대에 나타난 우리 사회의 문제점을 크게 세 가지 관점에서 검토한다. 세 가지 관점은 첫째, 인간과 자연 사이의 지구 생태 위기, 둘째, 개인과 국가 권력 사이의 생명 위기, 셋째, 인간과 인간 사이의 관계 위기이다. 물론 이 주제들 하나하나가 거대 담론에 속하기에 짧은 논문에서 자세히 논한다는 것은 불가능한 일이다. 다만 여기서는 팬데믹 시대의 철학적 성찰의 긴박함을 인식하고, 이 주제들과 관련하여 우리 사회에 불거진 몇 가지 문제점을 제한된 범위 안에서 성찰한다. 그리고 이러한 성찰은 팬데믹의 위기 상황을 극복하는 인문학적 제안이 될 것이다. 사실 팬데믹 상태에서 드러난 모든 위기는 인간이 세계 내에 존재하면서 존재자와 맺는 관계 방식에서 비롯된 것이다. 우리는 이 사실에 주목할 필요가 있다. 즉 코로나 팬데믹 위기 상황 속에서 겪고 있는 문제의 핵심이 근본적으로 세계 내존재로서 인간이 세계와 관계하면서 세계를 이해하는 방식과 그 안에서의 삶의 방식에 있다는 사실이다. 그렇기에 우리가 코로나 팬데믹을 통해서 우선 반성하고 성찰해야 할 것이 있다면, 그것은 다름 아닌 우리 자신과 삶 그리고 존재 이해가 되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The long-running Covid-19 pandemic poses a wide variety of problems and implications, but philosophical reflection on the pandemic is insufficient. The paper examines the problems of our society in the Covid-19 pandemic era from three perspectives. The three perspectives are as follows: first, the global ecological crisis between humans and nature, second, the life crisis between individuals and power of state, and third, the relationship crisis between humans and humans. Of course, it is impossible to discuss each of these topics in detail in a short paper because they belong to a large discourse. However, we recognize the urgency of philosophical reflection in the pandemic era and reflect on some of the problems raised in our society related to these topics within a limited scope. Further, this reflection will be a humanities proposal to overcome the crisis as a result of the pandemic. In fact, all the crises revealed in the pandemic state stem from the way humans exist and form relationships with others in the world. We need to pay attention to this fact. In other words, the core of the problem experienced in the Covid-19 pandemic crisis lies fundamentally in the way humans understand the world, their relationship to the world and the way they live in it. Therefore, if there is anything we should first reflect on through the Covid-19 pandemic, it should be none other than ourselves, life, and understanding of existence.
