TPB 기반의 정보통신윤리 의식 척도개발

초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년 학생들을 대상으로 그들의 정보통신윤리 의식을 객관적으로 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고 해당 척도의 타당성을 입증하기 위한 것이다. 하지만 정보통신윤리와 같은 정의적 영역의 측정은 눈에 보이지 않는 잠재적 특성들을 다루기 때문에 측정내용의 선정뿐만 아니라, 표준화되고 체계적이며 과학적인 척도개발 절차와 방법의 적용이 요구되어 진다. 더 나아가 척도가 단순 측정의 기능을 넘어 치료와 처방의 기능을 갖기 위해서는 정보통신윤리와 관련된 비윤리적인 행동이 왜, 어떠한 요인에 의해서 유발되는지에 대한 근본적인 이해의 노력도 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우선, 측정내용의 선정에서부터 타당성 입증까지 척도개발 각각의 단계별로 수행해야 할 구체적이고 명확한 내용을 제시하고 있는 Devellis의 척도개발 8단계를 바탕으로 측정개념을 구체화하기 위해 문헌분석과 정보통신윤리 관련 전문가들을 활용한 델파이 기법을 활용하였고, 이를 이용하여 응답자인 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 인지적, 도덕적 발달단계를 고려한 실생활 주변의 가치갈등 상황이 포함된 시나리오 형태의 문항을 개발하였다. 여기에 인간의 행동 실천에 결정적 영향을 미치는 요인을 설명하기 위해 주로 사용되는 계획된 행동이론(Theory of Planned Behavior)을 가미하여, 절제 14개, 존중 15개, 책임 15개, 참여 13개 총 57개의 문항을 개발하였고, 이를 가지고 타당도 및 신뢰도 검증을 수행한 결과 신뢰도는 .967로 높게 나타났으며, 탐색적 요인분석과 구조방정식을 활용한 확인적 요인분석을 수행한 결과, 타당도 또한 높게 나타남으로써 본 연구에서 개발한 척도가 매우 안정적이며 의미롭다는 것을 증명할 수 있었다.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to develop and validate an objective scale that can measure the Information Communication Ethics Awareness (ICEA) of the senior elementary students. However, since the measurement of the affective domain, such as the ICE, deals only with abstractive and latent characteristics, a standardized, systematic, and scientific development process needs to be adopted besides the characterization of the appropriate contents to measure. Furthermore, for the scale to serve the purpose of curing and prescribing in addition to the basic measurement function, we need to understand the fundamental causes of the unethical behaviors related to ICE. For this, we need to have a concrete scale development methodology which provides a reliable and systematic develop environment during the whole development cycle. Therefore, we adopted and appropriately modified the Devellis' 8-stage method which presents detailed tasks for each development stage. Based on this, we also used the Literature Review as well as the Delphi Method utilizing the ICE professionals in order to take concrete shape of the measurement concept. We, then, developed scenario-based questions considering the real-world dilemmas as well as the cognitive and ethical maturity of the responding senior elementary students. Also, we applied the 'Theory of Planned Behavior', which is widely used to explain the major variables affecting a person's behavior, such that the participants can get more detailed results for 4 variables. As for the validity results, based on the exploratory factor analysis, the questions exactly conform to the factors defined in the research and similarly, based on the confirmatory factor analysis, the final questions are shown to be appropriate and valid for measuring the ICEA. Based on these observations, we can conclude that the ICEA measurement scale proposed in this research is very reliable, credible, and valid.
