프랑스 논증 수업 사례 분석을 통한 논증 교육의 방향 탐색

이 연구는 프랑스 논증 수업 사례 분석을 통해 국어과에 본격적으로 도입되고 있는 논증 교육의 방향에 대해 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 프랑스 교육과정, 한 학기 수업 계획, 수업 담화, 교장․교사 면담을 통하여 프랑스 논증 수업의 특징을 개관하고 구체적인 수업 장면의 분석을 통하여 논증 교육 내용의 구성과 교사와 학생의 상호작용 양상을 살펴보았다. 논증 교육 내용에 있어서는 학습자를 고려한 점진적, 단계적 구성의 필요성을 제시하고 문법 영역이나 문학 영역과의 통합을 모색하는 구성을 통해 국어과 영역 통합 수업의 방향을 확인하였다. 논증 수업에 있어서는 교사와 학생 간의 논증적 수업 대화 훈련의 필요성에 주목하여 교사의 유도하기, 바로잡기의 유형을 살펴보고 학생의 자발적 참여 유형을 분석하였다. 특히 논증 교육에 있어서 교사와 학생 간의 연속적 말차례 주고받기를 통한 메타과정적 유도행위가 중요함을 강조하고 교사가 학생들의 상호작용 양상을 살피면서 이를 점검하고 조절하고 격려해 줄 필요가 있음을 지적하였다.
Abstract
Through observations of argumentation class and in-depth interviews with teacher in French school we found out the contents and procedure of French argumentation class. The ultimate goal of this research is to provide leading perspectives regarding Korean language education. For this we critically reviewed the actual state of Korean argumentation education and proposed new points of argumentation teaching. From the analysis, we gave following suggestions. 1) The contents for argumentation class should be organized systematically according to the developmental level of students. 2) The area-integrated activities including grammar and literature could make the argumentation class more meaningful to students. 3) The verbal interaction between the teacher and students during the argumentation class should facilitate process of argumentation. Especially, teacher's ‘metaprocess-elicitation’ activities are kinds of useful strategies, in that ask students to formulate the grounds of their reasoning.
